I've recently just hopped on the Anta train. I used to love Nike, but they're just too expensive and don't give me bang for buck for what I am looking for. Their budget models back then used to be great and now they feel cheap and don't have much tech. Their high end shoe caters more torwards indoor courts, even a EP version still doesn't feel durable. I got myself a pair of Anta GH4 last month and I am having fun playing in them and got it a pretty good price too. Full length Nitroedge foam I believe, it feels springy and provide impact protection. Thick herringbone traction which I needed as I played outdoors mostly and materials are good enough for me. I can't wait to try Anta Kai 1's in the future when they go on sale.

Hey Chris, yes, ive felt that on my muscles and body, its due to your body not being used to the movements that you used to do, so every part of it is over compensating, that soreness should dissapear slowly, I do reccommend you to go back to playing ball but at a slower pace so that your body gets used to it

Glad to see you back on court doing your thang. Great to hear the shoes are killer and that they didn’t skimp on anything. As for the question of the day, that’s a tough one…..however after giving it some thought, for me Turning Red is my fav from Pixar…..followed by Coco. Elementals was awesome and so was Soul, but they also got The Incredibles as well….and UP, etc. Plus…I guess I’m an undercover 4-Townie. 🤣💁🏽‍♂️🫶🏼

Cool pair of kicks - thanks for the review. As for Pxar movies, I really like how Pixar is allowing for different cultures to get a spotlight like Turning Red and Elemental. Speaking of the Elemental, I didn't know what the movie was about at first but I loved it when it ended. An amazing romantic movie. Luca and Soul was so good and emotional. Then you have Up, one of the saddest first 10 minutes ever in a movie. I remember balling when I went to go that in the theater for the first time, and so was everyone else.

Cars was my favorite. When McQueen pushes the King over the line at the end of the race, I still get choked up. Also: Favorite Kyrie shoe: Nike Kyrie 4. I don't ball so purely a amateur opinion but, man, that shoe was comfortable and the colorways were the best for that time.

Hey Nightwing, been watching you since way back 12 years to be exact. Big fan of yours. Anyways, the Nike Kyrie 6 also had above average cushion it featured a zoom air turbo unit in the forefoot and the rest of the midsole has injected phylon. It was one of your best basketball shoes of 2019. Also, I have a pair of them still and they’re straight beast on court.

Had the Anta KT2s and they were amazing on court. I'm highly considering these even though I barely ball anymore since I'm old as hell now haha. Since the mid-2010s, Anta really has been the main company providing innovation to the basketball shoe category. Where Nike (and the other western brands) take shortcuts, Anta has been filling the gap.
