I think Puma is on fire lately even their lifestyle line. I'm glad they are releasing all this awesome shoes, I just hope they don't get hypebeast hype so buying one wouldn't be awfully hard.

Yes, The Puma Hybrid Astro One8 are very very good in my experience from the trial, and look a lot more tech filled than the Adidas Boost.

HE117 they have Deandre ayton and boogie (although boogie won’t be very marketable for a while, the same as ayton) Also, rj Barret was wearing pumas at his rookie photo shoot, so he’s probably signed there.

I love modern basketball shoes that look like it came straight from the 80's like the marquee boost and this. Really wish jordan brand will re release the jordan 1 that was remade for performance

Big Puma fan , but little disappointed with my Clyde Courts . Like the way they look but cushioning little hard and unresponsive. Also run a little long .

Nike always lists its colorway names on Nike.com and SNKRS. Always. Leaks from blogs pick their own names that are typically incorrect.

@@WearTesters I understand, I'm just saying if this approach is on purpose, the purpose might be differentiating each shoe by its colorway, this way if they release 3 models with 2 different colorways it feels like they've released 6 different shoes. I could be overthinking tho! :))

​@@WearTesters That's what I'm saying, I think major brands in basketball like Nike or Adidas fail to promote their colorways as much as they want to, because they have too many models to offer, but for a smaller brand like Puma, they're doing a great job to put emphasis on their different colorways to hide the lack of variety in models they're offering.

To me, Puma is being too secretive about their technology- specifically in cushioning. Both Nike and Adidas will show and tell their tech. Puma does something else.

Not true about PUMA. They’re not hiding anything. They fail at properly marketing the tech at times, but they haven’t been secretive.

I said before but i dont really ball, i used to play a lot of sports way back though. My entire shoe rack is virtually PUMA now, Adidas and Nike just dont fit right and their pricing is pretty bad by comparison. Ive moved virtually all my adidas and nike shoes, i have a handful of them i still wear that arent put away or given away now (i give away my old kicks to my sister cause shes a teacher in a not so great area, so the kids there need things like shoes). Current favorites out of everything ive owned recently... Puma Thunder Spectra (OG, Orange/Steel, Desert Black) , Puma Cell (any iteration they are all great, i have the Venoms, Aliens, Enduras), Clyde Court "Peace on Earth" (dope as hell CW and materials on that), RS-X, regular Clydes, Baskets, etc. Plus PUMA is always running great deals, and their deals often INCLUDE a lot of their top of the line shoes (some of them not all of them usually). I always feel like i get my moneys worth, if not more than my moneys worth when i buy PUMA. Im glad PUMA is slept on by a lot of people though or else i wouldnt be getting anything when they release, theyd be sold out. One of the other great things about them, they dont market all their new releases... You might ask "why is that a good thing?"... Why ? Because it brings you to their page every day to check whats new. They always have dope stuff releasing that never even gets a page of marketing.

WearTesters I like that combination of the old school look with today’s tech, it is a shame how long they seem on foot, as at that price point they’re a really good potential buy. Personally I think it’s a simple as Brands focusing on unique Design, no mimicking other designs or ‘trends’, IMHO

I think the fit being different between the 3 models could be seen as a positive... perhaps its not something that just happened but was done with purpose to try and have something for multiple people with different foot shapes. The unfortunate reality is I dont think there is actually any basketball sneakers out there that are labeled wide.. Its a good thing some shoes fit differently because I would be in trouble... size 14 (ideally 13.5) wide with high arch and slightly higher toe box for this flinstone big toe :( also tbh its not even just basketball... the only wides especially in a 13.5 are like orthopedic shoes or something my grandfather wore and im 32....

I love the uproars. Just wish they had a little more cushion in the forefoot but I can’t really complain. I love the Palace Guard CW but the yellow pair is a must when they hit clearance.

I sometimes think some of the KZbin shoe community makes too big of a deal about naming conventions, but I totally agree on what Puma does being annoying. They did the same thing with the Thunder Spectra and Thunder Electric. It's not critical, but it was confusing before I figured out what they were doing.

I've owned two Legacy mids since their release; latest one being the Shammgod model. Honestly they are built like TANKS and do not wear out. Despite the 'old school' collar they fit comfortably almost like a low. Traction always feels new especially if worn indoors.

Tried this shoes yesterday on court after 3 months purchased due to CVD19 MCO. No bad 1st impression, felt a bit hard overall, but hope to use to it another 2~3 matches. Traction Superb in indoor court !! Bravo Puma

I like the Legacy’s. Hope for more CWs though. In my experience with puma shoes, they usually are narrow and it’s a hit or miss if you need to go down half size because of length.(based on my 20yr history of rockin different styles)

I never liked adidas design excpet yezzeys. Nike have good design but it wont fit to my feet properly. Puma fits well,great quality and overall pricing is great.i have 7lair of puma from casual to running to football shoes. Here in india puma is largest sports brand .
