the fresh foam bb v2 is so comfy i’ve been wearing them casually all year - no other hoop shoe this year comes close in terms of pure comfort. the liren 4 v2 is my favorite from this year. but every shoe here is awesome. good to see a different brand in every spot 🔥

Kobe 6 is still my go to on court. Has been since the release. The protros I wish had zoom in the heel with less mush but still my favorite. Enjoyed the Jordan 39 and the EQLZ 24/7

Every real hooper that had it know k6s is the goat. Agree they gotta have to put zoom on them heels tho for the older ones for impact protection. It's why for now they are for shooting and workouts while I had the softer cautions for playing

I haven’t played a single second of basketball this year but based on what I use my shoes for (running, gym, and casual wear), I think your list captures an accurate snapshot of what seems to be happening in the industry as a whole: Nike is still capable of making a noteworthy performance shoe but is no longer head and shoulders above everyone else, as they seem to have pivoted towards their shareholders rather than athletes. The other big brands have caught up and each have several options that are competitive with what Nike is doing--usually at a better price point for similar tech-and there are several smaller brands that have filled in the gaps. Overall we have llots of options, and that benefits us as consumers and as users. My feet haven’t felt this good in a long time. Thanks for the video! Thumbs up for this one. See you soon.

I totally felt the same way about the KT10 after a first couple of wears. I had doubts and regrets but after about 2-3 more wears after that, they do slowly start to feel great honestly.

Nice list! Reminds me I need to play in my BBv2s. My favorite this year by far has been the GT Cut 3. Good cushion, court feel, support, stability, and traction - all the things I prioritize. Only issue seems to be tbat they bottom out pretty quickly and that impacts the experience the more you play in them. Maybe thats a sign that I'm too heavy! 😅

Might be an unpopular opinion but I really love the Jordan 39s. They work for me, I love the comfort, the fit, and the traction has been money. Stability isn't the shoes greatest attribute but when running a fast break there's no better feeling!

I only have 1 pair in your top 5. 361 Big 3 5.0 Quick Pro and personally, it’s my 2nd favorite shoe to hoop in, next to AE1. I do have the other mentioned shoes such as kd17, AC12, etc. Your insight makes me wonder how it feels playing in those KT10s 😅

I have the Sabrina 2s. Traction is superb but I feel the lock down isn’t great (my feet slip inside the shoes with stop and go) and the heel cushion is inferior to some others I have worn in the past.

Yall sleep on the AE1 both low and high. I hoop in the high because i feel the sock collar gives more ankle support. Low is decent for casual wear. Me personally i think are soty for signature sneakers for hoopin.

the ff bb v2 was mind-blowing lol. fixed every problem the gt jump 2 (2023) had (upper offers poor containment after breakin, zoom strobel causes foot fatigue, having 2 max zoom bags just kind of made it wobbly, high top converted to mid top). would hands down be the perfect big man shoe if it had an outrigger or if the foam was "cambered" laterally. gt jump 2 should have been better on paper but just wasn't toned properly. too much on some things and too little on the others. + the dame 9 with an insole swap is a GODSEND.
