Hi Alistair, what a beautiful evening to fly your new Weasel 🥰 Really enjoyed your unedited video. When the seagulls joined in you clearly got into some really nice lift 👍 and it was inevitable that the only tree along the stretch you were soaring was going to catch your Weasel 🤣 DaneRC in Europe have a balsa kit version that's been tempting me 🤔

Very cool ! I'm looking at the Weasel as my first slope soaring plane. Did you use the recommended Nimh battery and servos and did you need to add ballast ?

The Weasel is a perfect first slope plane, huge range of wind speed. I got it with the recommended servos and battery.

I add ballast when it's windy, I just tape a AA battery to the c of g.

I haven't weighed it but I went with the recomended dream flight battery and servos. It is very light.

I found my scale. It is 9.7 oz or 275g unbalasted and the most I have added is 1oz or 28g in stronger conditions.
