WeatherGuard actually advertises their lock as drill resistant. I guess he wants one easy to break into lol. He’s apparently to goofy to realize he created the problem by losing his keys lol. All he had to do was buy another key..🤷‍♂️🤔😂

Next time go to a locksmith and they can make you a key…I bought a cheap used box that didn’t come with any keys. I went by a locksmith intending to buy a hole new lock and the guy was able to make a key from the code on the lock for far cheaper and easier than changing the whole lock

Dude. I just bought that same exact box new but locked and without keys to it. I swear on my life it took maybe 7 seconds to pick that lock and make the lid fly open! And I’m no lock picker! I made a rudimentary pick right before I tried it. The very first time I inserted my pick made from a paper clip the lock turned and the button popped out! Easiest lock I’ve ever known of to defeat.

I ordered one and its about 2 weeks past the date that i was supposed to receive it. They are ghosting me. I've called, I've sent emails, I've left questions in their question section on their website (which they refuse to post). They took my money, and now they are ghosting me. They are about 7 hours from where I'm located. I'm tempted to drive there and take what's mine.

The extreme protection locks they use are an absolute joke. You can pick it with a paper lip faster than you can open it with a key and I am not exaggerating.

Why wouldn't just go to a locksmith? Ive bought 3 of these weatherguard tool box of facebook market place for the low low w no keys and a locksmith here in pomona ca opens it and makes me new keys for 25 bucks

I keep my tools inside the food grade buckets from Lowes with the sealed lids. No moisture gets in or out.

Weather Guard's lock system problem is the cylinder malfunctions.and the cylinder won't push the rod.That happened to me, all I did was take a prybar and gently levered the lock in the middle and it opened. No drilling or nothing! No brute force just a woman's patient and gentle touch and I didn't even need a 6 pack or cussing.

Tools rusted out? Did you bolt the toolbox to the floor of the truck? probably leaked water into the bottom. The only thing I don't like about my weatherguard saddle type box, is that the floor of the box isn't entirely welded around its perimeter, only spot welded. Doesn't really mater since is it elevated off the bed, but, would prefer it be 100% welded there.

I have the same box and no matter how i turn the key or press the button it won’t open. Called weather guard was told the lock was defective. They told me how to get the lock out and i was able to pull it, but the rod that releases the latches isn’t visible. Not sure how they attach them because the box is stuck closed. All my other weather guard boxes have been great but this chest style box is another story.

Anybody who has all Milwaukee tools is an amateur in my eyes. If you’ve been in the trades long enough you’d know that Milwaukee has only had decent quality for the past 5 or so years. It’s how I tell a green guy vs someone with experience. Lastly, all of these are USER errors bruh. You lost the key and then call a toolbox company asking for help to break into it. What kind of customer service did you expect?
