Widespread showers and storms appear likely across Southeast Texas once again posing a risk for more flash flooding and severe weather. Be sure to be weather alert today, and if you approach any flooded roadways--- always turn around, don't drown!

Time of arrival looks to be around 5 pm in the Lakes area, and near the triangle closer to 7 pm.
A few showers are possible tomorrow across the region depending on if storms are able to redevelop.
Early next week, a ridge of high pressure will develop over Mexico and nose into Texas. High temperatures much of next week will be near 90 or just above with mainly dry conditions.
