Aren't the new 4903s the ones with a candela rating sticker? I thought the ones with the colored shapes were older

@ Yes they are; the 4903-9252, 9253, 9254 Horn/Strobes are specific replacements to the Older 4903 Series.

Very cool how the Truealert auto-synced with the 9219. Though I do wonder why it took so long to activate

SmartSync tends to take awhile to get up and running.

Am I correct that these can be ordered with either conventional NACs or with IDNac, and you can't get access to the other option even with programming or i/o cards?

Yes, the MSS has conventional NACs and the ESS has IDNAC. You could have conventional NACs for either one with a 4009 IDNET NAC extender. There's also the 4009 TAC for addressable signals, but it has limited compatibility with ES TrueAlerts.
