Smashing use of powders at the end there Bunt, I agree about not sealing if you don't have to - in my experience if the powder is a quality product it'll bite into the surface coat enough to withstand the occasional bit of fingering.
@BuntersYard3 жыл бұрын
Yes. The Matt coat will dilute the effect of the powders, so if the wagon won’t be touched too much, I’d agree and not give it the Matt coat. I do mine if they are specifically being made for sale

5:07 At least you have plenty to work with. :) Another fantastic work of art. Congratulations on finally reaching the 1k milestone on here. Well deserved. Do you use Facebook at all? As I've already said, I've still not been able to regain access to my Instagram. You could set up a Facebook page and build up a following on there too. A lot more people use Facebook than any other social media platform, so you could reach a lot more people still.

Thanks for watching. I had an issue with Facebook a while back so currently not on there. I may do at some point, but KZbin and Instagram is growing nicely at the moment

I recently invested in an airbrush (Iwata Neo) but haven't given it a test drive yet, so I'm looking forward to running it over a couple of old "Mainline" wagons to see if I can't breathe new life into them. What pressure do you set the compressor at for applying the weathering coats? I'm guessing it needs to be fairly light to get the misting effect. A great looking model and thanks for posting. Oh, you have a new subscriber, too. Stay well.

Hi Paul. Good choice on the airbrush. Pressure would be around 15psi for general use, and less for finer, close work. Good luck with your future weathering. Let me know if you have any particular requests or ideas for future videos
