Excellent job Glenn. The Tank commander looks great as well. Me personally, I have always liked this look of a tanker with just their head protruding out of the turret.

I have purchased a number of the books by dennis oliver. I like that these cover breifly tge actual vehicle but units that used them, vehicle alloted to units, available kits and upgrades as well color profiles. Their a one stop shop for your vehicle subject. And your Tigers are both cool.

I agree completely. I always wanna know the order of battle for a division and if I can get all that information and one book or resource that’s amazing. Thanks for your comment!

Awesome as usual Glen. Can i ask if you use oil or chalk pastels ? (the use of turpenoid suggests oil but i'd like to be sure)
@ArmorModelsbyGlennBartolotti2 ай бұрын
I use the dry pastels sand them into powder and then you can mix Tonino with them. A little bit of the powder goes along way very very Little you can always put more later. If you mess up, you can wipe it away with more turbidnoid.

I really like the turret number, were they painted on, or you did some clever trick with the decals?
@ArmorModelsbyGlennBartolotti2 ай бұрын
They’re just decals I put them on with Microsoft and once they dry if there’s any air underneath, I just pick a tiny hole pinhole and then add more Microsoft till they’re all snug down and then they’re sprayed with testers flat

If I missed it l apologize. But after the wash was applied did you dulcoat (flat clear) the entire model?
@ArmorModelsbyGlennBartolottiАй бұрын
Yes
@TonyKelly-p7xАй бұрын
Okay, Last question. Prior to applying the dark wash to the entire Tiger, did you first apply a coat of gloss or semi gloss to protect the paint job from the weathering process?
@ArmorModelsbyGlennBartolottiАй бұрын
@@TonyKelly-p7x I don't add gloss coat. no

He Glenn, I ordered those motorcycle wheels from Sol models and they have still not come, they make excuses and promise tomorrow.. I wonder if they are ceasing trading with the US like Russia has. I ordered them way back when you had the video of a review of their product! So just a warning concerning trading with them right now. Instead, go to Andy's Hobby who carries Sol products.

@@ArmorModelsbyGlennBartolotti Its terrible but even thought I am so antsy to get the kit, I a not going to be able to build it for a while. I do extreme detailing and I usually spend months on one kit, including putting working lights into the interior if it is a tank. The reason it's so long is because I am dividing my time between where I live and another city in another state, and live on a big piece of land that has to be cared for. So sometimes there is a week where I can't work on something.
