I have a fond memory of waiting for the bus to work in Edmonton, 5:30 a.m, wind chill -38, one eye frozen shut...........thank Chuck I'm in Ontario now. But I miss it.

But I'm sure it was a 'Dry Cold'. Lol. It's just a joke between, brother I'm Yellowknife compared with the damp cold of downtown Toronto. It's been so mild in Central Ontario this year. For years actually.

So annoying that the TV weather personalities always have to be the "star" of the presentation. Graphics, which actually give us the best understanding of the information are shown briefly and then back to the cameras on the weather presenter. Or you often see the presenters blocking the graphics. We don't need to see the presenters because we can hear. Weather presenters would do us all a big favour if they would just get over themselves.

5 days? They can’t predict yesterdays weather. It’s sunny outside right now but my app says it’s snowing, and has been for the last 4 hours!😂

@doinafred3049 Yeah…Canadian winters….and the outrageous high heating bills and dead looking leafless trees also. ❤️I love the summer and I’m moving to the tropics. ❤️ Instead of snow and ice……I have palm trees and sandy beaches and low costs….. ❤️ ✈️ 🌴 🌴 🌴 👋🏼 😃

Still bare in Barrie today. I miss living in Muskoka, but it is best to avoid driving when conditions are this unpredictable. Barrie was always known as the snowbelt. You'd drive up from grey streets in Toronto to whiteouts as you nesr the Barrie live, About 50 mins north of Toronto's 401. *Great work guysm ❤

Last year the mild winter in the west and the sudden polar vortex that brought temperatures to Victoria that it hasn’t seen in ages did more damage to plants than any La Niña cold winter ever did.

Really, last year was the warmest winter on record? Was it warmer than the Medieval Warm Period from 900 to 1300 A.D. or warmer than the Minoan Warm Period 3,300 years ago which was estimated to be about 5 degrees F warmer than today?
