Love your music, keep up the good work. I have to say, this is a great highlight of today, and were this made maybe 50 years ago, it would still be something similar. Thank you for putting this out there, and helping start a conversation about what is currently the norm in this country. Before anyone gets on my neck about stuff, yes, American, yes, married, yes, fully employed, yes, smoker, yes, former alcoholic. This would have hit home for me 10 years ago if I hadn't pulled myself up from my bootstraps and moved forward with my life. I call no one out specifically, but if you identify with this song, its not too late. The first step to issue resolution is recognizing the problem. The second step is making a plan, the third step is enacting that plan. Can you move forward and identify step 1?

When you compare the American Dream of the 30s to now, suburban houses have turned into mansions, Cadillac's have turned into Lamborghini's, and "I want a wife and two kids" has turned into "I screwed a hooker and gotta pay child support". Social media, while a great tool for fun, entertainment, and bonding, has allowed those old black and white cartoons of the "happy family" to become somebody's Instagram post. The American Dream has always been about trying to be like everybody else.
