Do you remember ever seeing Haze on the XL CC screen showing the Sunny/Clear icon? There are a few instances of this on famartin1's videos from July 1999, but I don't recall ever seeing that on an XL before (in person or online), I was wondering if this could be narrated as "Under fair skies with haze.", or if this just says "Under hazy skies.". I have, however, seen at least one 4000 video with Hazy on the CC screen showing the Sunny icon, although the LDL shows Fair. I was also wondering if this was later changed to just show as Fair, or if Fair with Haze was such a rare report (I'm assuming that's the observation as the Trenton station was not human operated).

Interesting observation, I’m not sure how it was narrated if it ever was. They may have made changes before narration was introduced. I had never seen a fair/haze or clear/sunny haze observation on the XL at least knowingly. I could have easily overlooked it.

@@wxArchivePA I don't remember ever seeing that in person when I had the XL as a kid. I'm pretty sure I would remember seeing Haze with the Sunny icon on the CC screen if, regardless of how it was handled narration-wise. Then again, I didn't see very many LFs per day before August 2003 because I didn't have cable at my main house until then. Also, did you see my new graphics on my LFs? I was wondering what you thought about them.
