Thanks Michelle. It is so nice to watch you weaving a larger piece. I have had to nowadays only make smaller pieces on a Hocket loom (8”) because my fingers have become just a bit arthritic. However I am still weaving… mug mats you might call them!

Oh, that sounds like fun!! Yeah, I usually make a larger piece on my large Ashford tapestry loom, and a smaller piece on my loom at my Collective Haunt studio (where there is less room!). So glad you enjoyed it! :D

Aww, thanks for your kind comments! Well, I AM sitting there, chatting with friends, you know? :) I don't use as many tools as most tapestry weavers - just one bobbin to beat the weft :)

I just needed to come here to say your thumbnail says "weave with me" in a very beautiful and fancy font so my brain read it as "weave with ale". LOL I'm good with both of those things.

Hi Michelle, from this great clip it looks like you start outside rows with half hitch, when you add a bobbin or butterfly (or two if doing meet and searate patch, do you also half hitch or just thread the tails through the warp? Thanks - Peter form Paris
