Good vid, thanks for sharing! I have stripped the green leaves off and double reversed twisted them into a nice quick long rope, good to tie down something that does not need high strength.

Great Job Brother!! I bet the tarred bank line would be great for that...it has some grip to it...and you could break it down to the 3 separate strands so your using less resource, and still have plenty of strength.

Keep in mind that this is an extremely invasive plant. Once established you will find it impossible to get rid of and it will completely ring a lake. It produces an acid at its tip as it grows and will literally grow up through 6 inches of asphalt. Beyond that, it makes a good mat.

An interesting and informative video but PLEASE stop saying "... go ahead ..." - it's a "verbal tic" and is distracting (and annoying).
