I do not have a temple but you are showing me the value of having one on hand.

I don't normally use temples on towels ~ mostly on rugs ~ but in this case it was a quick fix for the draw in. Alternatively, I could have woven some waste yarn between the patterns, leaving lots of room at my selvedges so they would move out. Hope that helps if you don't want to get a temple!
