You are the best I have seen on doing a really great explanation and demonstration of weaving for both light and heavy attacks. Your view of adding onto the two, a spell and light attack plus the next spell with light attacks between them is an awesome way to practice until one gets the entire rotation down. Lots and lots of practice.

thank you for the break down and in depth explanation, truly has helped me understand better once i get this down better im going to try and figure out how to sustain it through the entire 3mil dummy then the 6mil dummy currently just shy of 25k sustained through the 3mil.

I'm playing Magblade as Psijic's Elemental Weapon as my spammable. Having trouble visually seeing it as the Elemental Weapon animate moves the staff back as if the light attack animation went through. I notice my parces going up on light attack but just don't understand the visual feedback.

At TS 6:07 you said the LAs were not going off because the skill was being activated too quickly after the LA was started. Could the same problem happen if you are clicking the LA button too soon after activating the skill?

Yes, the same problem can happen here. LAs are on a slightly faster than 1 second cooldown (I believe the exact timing is ~900ms), so hitting your LA too early can also cause it to not fire.

thanks for the info i thought weaving had to do with canceling animations not just using lights and skills in quick succession

not sure if anyone will reply to this seeing as this is pretty old, but what is that add on that pops up near the top right of his screen everytime his AOE or buffs or debuffs are about to wear off?

About animation canceling. Obviously with a bar swap it is easy, but how do you do it when going skill to skill on the same bar?

You do Light Weaving. Essentially, you're canceling the animation of the light attack by using an ability between each one (some people think of it as canceling the animation of the ability with a Light Attack).

Man I wish I could do Lightattack-Weaving, Caster would be really fun. I can pull like 35k on any stamina character, but never make it past 15k on a magicka character. And no guide on KZbin ever explained how to do it (with like simultaneous showing of the buttonpresses or something, I dont know).
