What folder would you add the .ds_store file to? I am learning file structure for my class and having trouble placing this one file. Thanks in advance!

Hi, the .ds_store is an OS file for macs, they are typically invisible unless you are using an IDE or have your OS setup to show invisible files. I just ignore them as they have no real relevance on the website.

In theory you can name it anything and then define the default inside the .htaccess file. It doesn't actually need to be called index. It could be brrrrr.php as long as you define that as the default page in the htaccess
