My first car was a 61 Cadillac 62 series convertible ... her tail fins were big and sharp as the 1960 Cadillac....mine was glacier blue with white top and blue leather seats....power windows and seat....no a/c ....she was 10 years old in 1971

This 61 Caddy Conv. .. you wont believe this ... I bought the car in June, 1971 ... she cost $300.00 ! car was all orig. right down to wheel covers..... very nice well taken care of car..... I replaced the back window ... orig. was cloudy ... I was just learning to drive... took my license test in this car..... such good memories.... I traded her in 1973 for a 1964 Coupe DeVille...she was white with black vinyl roof and black leather interior....my neighbor bought this 64 new and babied her.... it was like new.... I called her Snow White.... this man traded car for a 73 Buick Electra 225 ...I went right up to dealership and bought her... he hated the Electra...went back to Cadillac a year later....take care...BH...West Pa.

Like your comment, My dad and uncle owned a cadillac dealership, from 1955 to 1972. I was his lot boy, use to drive these big beautiful cars to high school and the cheerleaders loved it..My dad was strict with me, but he gave me a 1960 Eldorado biarritz Convertible for graduation in 71.full options, but i still had to pay for it. I am 68 and still have it, It's staying with me till the end...I had all of the best cadillacs from 1957 to 72's ,bought a 62 eldorado convtible for 600 dollars in 79.
