Good job. Mine was six years old in February and I JUST ordered a new burner tube from Weber today. No complaints.......

The little side trays will actually fold all the way under the lid. Just make sure the cooking grate has mostly cooled off first.

Thanks! I actually didn't know that. I will give it a try.

Thank you for answering the question of: how does this thing start? Other videos just say, "it has an electrical start", and then I'm wondering, "wait, how do I get a grill that you don't plug in. Is there a custom battery in there, etc..??? But you took 1 second to answer it with: "one triple aaa batter". You da man.

Another very important thing to remember when done cooking and getting ready to move the grill is to clear the grease pan. I almost forgot one day, until a friend pointed to the pan that was full of grease. That was almost a messy disaster.

In Australia, the unit comes with the hose and the optional trolley comets with a holder for the larger tanks.

For us apt dwellers with very limited patio space, the q1200 is the only way to go, the 2200 is just way too big and the q1200 has plenty enough space for just me and my wife. Not mention, most apt dwellers don't or can't use 20lb tanks

For tailgating purposes, how long does is take to cool?
@AdKatTech4 жыл бұрын
It cools quickly, on an average day, when you are done, leave the top open and maybe within 15-25 minutes, you could put it back in the car.
@Sacapuntas696 жыл бұрын
you can flip those trays under the cover once the grill has cooled off. oh, somebody already mentioned it, sorry! :-)

Thanks, I realized that after I posted the video, I'm going to do a follow up video and show that as well. Thanks for watching and your comments!

Hi would you mind sharing how long a small propane tank like yours would last with cooking? Thank u
@AdKatTech4 жыл бұрын
Really depends on how long you are cooking each time. I’ll track next time I change out the small tank. I also use an adapter for a regular sized tank which lasts a really long time
@maxinelurie54724 жыл бұрын
Ad Kat Tech thank you so much, oh I wish so so much I could get a adapter but they don’t sell them anywhere here, even Weber don’t stock them here, I’m in Cape Town South Africa, it’s so frustrating as the little gas cans cost a lot more 🙏🙏

How much assembly is required for this?
@susiearviso30324 жыл бұрын
Its not the insane, frustrating type of assembly. Jim. You won't need a tranquilizer at all.

How long hours can you cook with those miniature propane canister?
@AdKatTech6 жыл бұрын
Good Question. I'm not sure, depending on how high the flame was, and duration. I will try and do a test and get back to you. I would say at least 4-8 hours based on my usage, again also depending on how high the flame is.

Does it function better than my cheap barbecue grill? Does the resulting food on the Q1200 taste better? Don't the average stand-up barbecue grills have wheels to pull it around?
@graememorrison74083 жыл бұрын
I hope you get better, it can’t be a nice place mentally where you are
@larsbliss27282 жыл бұрын
Probably get similar results in the beginning but when you have thrown out 5 or 6 of the cheap grills the Weber will still be cookin'....

Does the Q1200 put out the same taste & cooking results as my stand-up grill? Do the wheels work better than my cheap grill's wheels?
@macmc77124 жыл бұрын
Susie Arviso You and only you can answer that question.
@crBudgetWatches3 жыл бұрын
You can ask similar things about anything, it’s called choice. Only you can answer that question . I love Weber grills for their durability.
