At first I thought the low C was a "Brightrail" addition to the piece because you could easily play it, but I heard other renditions and saw that no, that is the way the piece was written. Whether actually by Weber as transcribed from an uncatalogued bassoon solo or from another unknown composer altogether, it is still a beautiful piece and a marvelous part of the trombone repertoire.....and now part of yours. You have a "Bright" career ahead!
