I remember designing myanimalist profile and the old youtube profile pages when I was a kid. I didn't know I was coding the whole time hahaha. I have ADHD so it takes me longer to grasp concepts but my creativity has always been exceptional. What you guys have created is legendary NGL. The platform is very sophisticated and I dare say it rivals programs like Revit and AutoCAD. and it's free! I can tell most of you are millennials from your website and it makes me proud that my generation could come up with such beautiful technology like this :) I know some might not take criticism very much, however, there is one negative to your videos; a problem that is so prevalent in the coding community. You have to "dumb" your speech down for people haha. you guys/gals have obtained such a high education that you're leaving a huge majority of people out. think of the part-timer or full-timer who happens to stumble upon your ad and decides to download your product. they might not even speak English but still want to learn. the speed mixed in with all the different terms you need to learn is hectic. I've dabbled in coding and many other programs so I can follow. but for the average person it won't be easy. For example, the free Harvard coding program is a disaster. you can barely follow what he's saying without extensive notes, studying, and interpretation. your videos are different because you're explaining a website building application but the speech is similar. I will definitely be using web flow for my future projects though haha, you guys did well. def keep up the good work and I hope my review helps haha.

Tis link doesn't work in preview mode it only works on published sites. Try using the link on a live site

make sure you're using a back tick and not the quotes key
@mauriceledoux16492 жыл бұрын
not sure if youve had success with this, but it seems like you have to actually publish these changes, and then go to the actual website. the anchoring wont work in the preview? I was having an issue as well until I figured out I needed to follow the video exactly

We've updated this. You no longer need a backtick (`) symbol. Just add /#projects and it should work.

Hey, love the tuts but I have a question on the projects button. It doesn't seem to work on the cloned project. When I change the 'type; to 'section' and then choose 'projects' it works on the home page but not on the other pages. Any help would be appreciated

At first I was wondering why they didn't do it like you but I think that's because of the issue you encountered. If I'm not mistaken doing it that way only works for links on the same page. I'm sure you have resolved your problem since then but maybe this answer will help others ^^.

When you publish the site and go live, it works on the main web page. Not sure why it doesn't work in Webflow's preview

The success message didn't work for me. It just wouldn't let drag it inside the form and it remained a sibling of it covering the whole form. I also wasn't able to delete the success message. Any help? or I'll have to build my contact form again I reckon. Thanks!

I think you forgot how to teach us how to add the link block to the view project in the homepage, I just put a link block in the image to solved it, and also a link block in the project details but I had to put flebox too and grow as possible for everything to work, maybe I'm learning how to fix those things ! there are also other details but we can fix them thanks to the teaching! best course ever, for real...
