Joe, you can use angular 22 when you change the import for Component and View as follows: ComponentAnnotation as Component, ViewAnnotation as View Cheers paul.

great intro video to angular 2 keep up the good work BTW on a side note david's code had a bug . instead of returning random number from 0 to 5 it was always returning 0, so the example was not accurate enough to deduce the speed

Getting a reference to DOM object can be obtained from $event.target I don't see benefit with adding #doc to refer to DOM object....

I don't have time to watch lengthy (an hour!?) videos on this stuff, so I generally opt to read the transcript instead. The auto-generated one on here needs some real cleanup. Maybe as @ChristophWorlf mentioned it's due to the sound quality. Anyway, would be very helpful if @Pluralsight would attach their own transcript.

Nathan Martin angular 2 can be best there is out there but business need stability for at least 5 years. Now they can trust the team that would drop angular 1.. angular team themselves say there is no path to angular 2 for dev of angular 1. Its kinda good thing because everyone was going angular because it was new hot thing even though project didnt really have that much complexity.
