Its main objective is to determine if the project can be carried out without causing significant environmental impacts and to establish the conditions and mitigation measures necessary to reduce those impacts. The evaluation process includes the presentation of the project by the promoter, the review of the information by the environmental authority, and the issuance of the resolution. This can be positive, negative, or conditional on the implementation of specific measures. Additionally, the resolution may include monitoring conditions to ensure compliance with mitigation measures.
