Webinar "Formalization of informal settlements in the UNECE region", 28 March 2024

This webinar was organized on 28 March 2024 by UNECE as part of its series aimed at introducing online, free-of-charge and self-paced courses on topics related to urban resilience and SDG localization. This 4th webinar focused on case studies related to the formalization of informal constructions and settlements in Albania and the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for mapping informal settlements. The webinar also provided a brief review of two UNECE e-learning courses: “Guidelines for formalization of informal constructions” and “Implementing COVID-19 Recovery Action Plans for informal settlements”. Both courses are available in English and Russian.
