Is Qtier available in QuTS hero? How is hot and cold storage managed in this version?

Does it compress before or after dedupe and is it done based on directory and policy order?

The Dedup happens before the compression. The ZFS inline compression is based on shared folders.

@@QNAPCollege appreciate that, everything I've seen is that the compression happens first and results in poor dedup performance.
