Hi, thanks for this, it saves much time having a manufacturer explain it clearly. Does anyone know which PLC makes/models will support function code 0x10 over either RS485 or TCP IP? I'm currently using the Delta AS300 series which only supports FC 0x06 but looking at others I cant see anything that supports FC0x10 and it would be great to speed up the control loop up as described.

Hi, thanks for the great webinar. Can we connect the Fronius inverter with third party data logger that support Modbus RTU protocol?

Hoping someone can see this message and point me in the right direction. Is it at all possible to emulate the dynamic-power-limit function (the function that can curtail the solar output to match the home usage dynamically) found in the Export Limitation settings of the web UI? I am using Modbus with Home Assistant, and have figured out how to limit the solar to 0w, but this simply starts draining my Powerwall to feed the home. When I use the Web UI however, the solar output is lowered but matches exactly the home consumption. Surely there is a modbus function to allow for this?
@FroniusSolar10 ай бұрын
Hi Lewis Costin! The dynamic power regulation is meant to reduce the feed in to the grid to the set value. If you set 0%, the output power of the inverter will match the consumtion because you set not to feed in. If you want to limit the output with your home automation and the function is not properly working, then you have to contact the manufactured of the home assistant device. Hi, thank you the video. Question: Our MODBUS Tcp/ip communication speed too slow, 1 register read/write is 200-400 ms. Can you give information about this problem? Or is it a firmware error? Direct connection to Fronius Datalogger is same and connection over router is same too.

Hi, thanks for the great content. Can you have some tutorial for the push service? Basically I wanna send some data for my app without any extra hardware. Thanks

Hi Joao! This topic was more revolving around Open Interfaces and Sunspec Modbus, however as you are aware we also support Push service, for which more info can be found here: www.fronius.com/en/solar-energy/installers-partners/technical-data/all-products/system-monitoring/open-interfaces/fronius-push-service Best regards, your Fronius Social Media Team

@@FroniusSolar Thanks a lot Fronius! On the json Api is possible to inverter send data to url or the inverter Works only like a server to my queries? I can send data now with the ftp push service only. Thanks
@carlos_marquez3 жыл бұрын
@@jvitorcarvalhomg you can send requests from your app to the inverter api url and it will respond with JSON information. There is API documentation in a PDF available in Fronius website.

@@carlos_marquez thanks for the information. I already have the PDF from 2 versions of API. In this case I have to set up an fixed IP to the client network or something like dyndns? On the local site in the inverter I have a option to send data via push to some IP (fails when I try so send to some url) Really thanks

Hi, currently I'm using MODBUS TCP/IP to link a robot arm to a Fronius Welding Power Source. I've a question regarding the status of the power source if I got plucked out the LAN cable during welding. What's the best way to trigger the robot not ready signal in the power source, if the LAN cable got plucked out during the operation. Thank you
@FroniusSolar3 жыл бұрын
Hi Farid! Thanks for your message. As this is more of a welding question, we suggest you get in touch with our distribution partner in Australia, Smenco www.fronius.com/en-au/australia/welding-technology Best regards, your Fronius Social Media Team
