I ski and picked up snowboarding as a second sport. Each has it's own benefits and draw backs. It's nice because it's a new challenge and change to keep you from burning out. I love how the snow mobilers freak out over snow bikes. It sounds like skiers in the 90's.

Tyrell way easier than snowmobiles. If you can ride a dirt bike anyways. If you can't balance a dirtbike you definitely won't balance a Timbersled.

My buddy got a Snowhawk when they first came out it was fun for a bit but was more of a novelty & he always went back to his sled for anything serious, That's how I view Snowbikes they are cool but I will always choose a sled especially in the mountains.

when timbersleds have the creature comforts like a windshiels heated handle bars and reverse i will buy them. In my opinion they still have a ways to go to turn a avid snowmobiler into a biker. Plus %95 of my riding is trails and all info points to these timbersleds are not good at that. as well as being way to underpowered.

nothing stopping you from building a bike with those features, and if you want more power just use a gsxr as a base. Throw two skis up front with torsion bar or tilt shocks between them to better trail manner
