This is a bad title for this video I'm sorry to say: this is not how you would check if an iPad was real or fake, assuming it was fake. It would be very easy to spoof the serial number for the fraudsters that created the fake counterfeit product. They could put whatever they want anywhere in the settings. The title of this video should be "how to check the warranty of your Apple product." my advice if you want to check if Apple product is real or fake is for you to familiarize yourself with the real product as much as possible for example, if you're trying to buy used AirPods, max go to the Apple Store and check the real product. Listen to it touch it feel it weigh it. you will find that fake AirPods max are very obvious fake when you touch them feel them or listen to them. if you're trying to buy a used iPad, make sure you can log into it with your Apple ID or have the owner log into it with their Apple ID download apps from the Apple Store maybe even run geek bench if you're that paranoid. i've seen really good fake iPhones with fake software that look real but once you try to use them or download apps or run the gig bench you're gonna run into problems.
