You won't believe how happy you have made me - I have been waiting 30 years for this. I recorded it on cassette at the time but ran out of tape. I know the sound quality is limited but it is a wonderful complement to the published version - personally I prefer Derek Hammond-Stroud to John Reed in this role. I can understand why this opera never took off but some of Sullivan's best music is in it!
