thank you for replying. You also need to include two lines of client side code to make the connection. You may start calling emit functions and receiving messages back with the on function. Like this, socket.emit('function_name', {}) or socket.on('function_name2', ... . to and from the server.

Hi, Could you please let me know that how to hit the web socket server if each call has different url path, example: connect to websocket over wss://ip:port/api/socket.io/url , after connecting to webscocket if second call is for user creation then the url will like wss://ip:port/api/socket.io/createuser. how tp use the existing connection and make the call for testing purpose?

Hey, Node.js would be helpful, but only a basic understanding - I go through how to set up a simple express app & server in this tutorial. JavaScript is a must though :).
