Referees are an absolute joke. No penalty for the Warriors. With Jaemon Salmon's late hit on Te Maire Martin. And the massive shoulder charge by Kikau. Any other time, penalty given. But it's so obvious, it would have meant not the desired outcome. Not a Warriors fan, either.

Adam Gee was one of the least contraversial Ref's last year. He's certainly stamping his "influence" on the game this season. That hit on Martin required action from the officials, no doubt about it. I QUIT my PAYTV subscription because of the inconsistencies by officials and their apparent propensity to steer games. It cut off a couple of days ago. I was a bit sad I wasn't able to watch the Warriors today but turns out it would've pissed me off anyway. The NRL Organisation under Peter V'landys, Andrew Abdo & Graeme Annesly imo is ruining the game of Rugby League. OK, it's upto them if they want to run a WWF style outfit - obviously unbeknown to players & coaches- but people should be forbidden from being able to bet on games, and the players & coaches should be informed. They're putting their necks on the line, literally, but the officials don't necessarily, it appears, have their health as the main concern. Steering the ladder appears more important, to me anyway. Anyone surprised both men's & women's State of Origins have 3rd game deciders? No.

Referees get paid as it is there job, why are they not held accountable for all there mistakes like the players instead of getting off Scott free by saying sorry all the bloody time . Why doesn’t the media interrogate the refs instead of asking coaches how they feel so if they slip up they get fined . Not good enough

@@johnblue7417 And I even think that the "independent doctor" that they supposedly use for HIA's, is another way that can be used to manipulate outcomes. Only have to look at Dallin Watene Zelezniak getting pulled off for a HIA. He was bewildered about why he had to go off the field. Usually, you see a few replays of an incident on why a player has gone off for a HIA. In Dallin's case, you saw one quick replay & that was it. No further mentioning of the incident. I even said to friends that were watching the game with me, that Dallin's "head knock" will be deemed a category 1 HIA. About 10 mins later, it was confirmed what I had expected. Just another way of manipulating a desired outcome. Of getting players off the field & greatly affecting a team's chance of winning a game.

@@Izzy-oo5rm the NZW team haven’t played consistent professional rugby league in the 2024 season. SJ was never the one man to blame. With the middle ladder being so congested they still may sneak in top 8🙏yet, although they must pull finger now and other results go their way. Gentlemen agreement or not, a winning team comes first. RTS needs to go back to fullback and cnk to the centres (if fit). He, and we need him with the ball in hand as much as possible. Moving him to wing, is better than nothing . SJ only plays when fully fit.

My only issue is people having a sook about 1-2 particular moments in the game and not the rest of the game. The ref let ALOT of things slide in that game especially for NZW infringements and he did let things slide towards the end too. It just seems hypocritical for fans to point out one thing and ignore the other.
