An ultra obscure, low-budget two reel comedy short, featuring noted silent film comic Lloyd Hamilton in his last starring role. Directed by prolific poverty row director Sam Newfield and featuring Arthur Housman, Gertrude Astor and Eddie Gribbon.

Wow....what a find this is. Many thanks to Ralph and Geno for the share. Lloyd Hamilton's final starring role. As his routine in the deck chair shows, all you have to do is set up a scene, give him a prop, and let "Ham" loose to do his thing, as with Stan Laurel or Al St. John. I also love the way that so many seltzer bottles just happened to be in the room where the card game was. Of course, Hamilton's clearly not in his prime here, but the Hamilton magic still shines through despite his diminished condition. His MOVE ALONG (1926) is in my silent comedy short Top 5 and I always enjoy a new Hamilton discovery, so this really made my day.

Thank you for identifying her, this print had no title cards so I had to go by what was readily available for cast information.

I would have liked to seen him and Bud Duncan team up again in the early 1930s. With the right writers and director they could have been awesome.
