What a unique talent Pam has and why she hasn't been made a Dame is beyond me. A true national treasure!

I was in Air Force and based at Brampton. I also met Pam but she wont remember me. She really was a lovely girl. we all took our turn at booking in 2 blocks of girls for latest time of 23.59. Alas i never heard her lovely poems then as i was in Welch block I worked in same area as pam at Brampton it began with J. I was right at far end of building. It is no longer there now and i was 2 years older so she joined 2 years after me. She has worked so hard and her lovely nature just flows from her and when she pens anything. I am so pleased to have met her. And long may you keep us laughing.

Wonderful to listen to this when the world is swiftly being turned upside down whether we like it or not. Such a clever, but down to earth lady. A wonderful poet and comedian. Reminds me of Ronnie Barker who was also very good with words, a clever and down to earth person too.

Wonderful words describing how l dont want to go to anyones wedding. We sat through a best man speech for an hour or a bride who wanted to open all the wedding presents at the wedding. We escaped through the hotel kitchen and out the back door. Give me short weddings without a single speech. Cake and a glass of champagne.

Like so many comedians of her era, she has the greatest skill of articulating her observations of society's little quirks of life, and she can entertain without a swear word being uttered, a rare gift in today's society. We can relate to so many of her situations and she makes us laugh at ourselves. I am not British but it's her accent which adds to the narrative for me.
