Great video! I’ve seen this corsage using a bracelet but didn’t know how it attached.

10:27 like eyelash glue! Thank you - great detailed video!!! I've been doing hair & makeup (for weddings & other formal events) for 20+ years. I started a flower farm this year (I've grown dahlias for a decade, but I kinda inherited a greenhouse) & decided to try all the flowers. I just planned to grow for florists - but when people ask about doing the flowers for... they mean everything! I'm learning to grow & do preservation, arranging - making my brains design come to life - I am loving it - but OMG these videos can be overwhelming! All of them 😂

I’m wondering because of the glue how long will it stay fresh for?
@HeustonFloralEstate2 ай бұрын
We box them and store them in the fridge for up to three days before the event. On event day, the flowers will last most of the day. More delicate flowers will soften and droop as the day wears on, and hardier flowers will keep for days and days. It’s important to know your product. Running some tests always helps!

How does the flowers stay fresh without water especially roses
@SageDesignsEvents2 ай бұрын
The flowers will eventually wilt at a much faster rate than they would in water. Wrapping the flower with tape helps to retain the water that’s already in the stem. Keeping the flowers cool until event day also helps to slow the wilting process. Once the roses are out in the world, they’ll last most of the day - depending on weather.

Thank you for the video - how wide is the band you used? An inch? Or larger? Thank you!

This particular mad is 1.25” and we’ve found that to be a great size. We’ve gone smaller but you lose some surface area for gluing.
@SageDesignsEvents2 ай бұрын
This one is 1.25” but we’ll generally use anywhere from 1” to 1.5”

Can you use this same technique when using artificial flowers?
@SageDesignsEvents27 күн бұрын
Yes you can, but I would use a glue gun instead of floral glue 😊
@charlenesoerodimedjo445127 күн бұрын
Aha great! And would you still use the wire and if so, how?
@SageDesignsEvents27 күн бұрын
@@charlenesoerodimedjo4451 most artificials already have wire so that’s probably a step you could skip.

Hello, where did you get the wire cutters?
@SageDesignsEvents2 ай бұрын
These are from Amazon. If you search for side cutters they’ll come up in the search results. I think these came in a pack of 3.
