I love this show! I wish it wasn't so scripted, there's no surprise element or sparkle in their eyes when the family and the groom see the the bride to be. Usually, people put their hands up to their face when they express themselves...here they just sit on the sofa deadpanned. The groom just happened to have a pair of sunglasses in his outfit and the bride just happened to wear a small yellow necklace to match her yellow outfit on when she first presented the yellow dress to her entourage. Remember the first season when everything was so " fresh" and exciting? Bring that back so we as the viewer can share in the excitement. I feel like I'm watching a mannequin standing in front of us. The outfits are always beautiful, always...hands down!❤
@beaulah_califa9867 Жыл бұрын
The people are scripted NOT THE SHOW! They seem to be so lovely yet also very superficial! Many cultures save their whole lives to pay for an elaborate wedding. for their daughters That was traditionally the last act or ritual to send their daughters off in life. This used to be the way in the US before divorce became so prevalent. In addition, the subcontinent cultures seem to have so three defined components/religious ceremonies that combined equal "the wedding". Don't compare another cultures traditions to your own and judge. I've watched every episode of this show and every bride has had to buy 2-3 gowns. By the time they get to Nazaraana, they already have purchased a gown elsewhere.
@Bexinmo Жыл бұрын
I agree with you. I would love to see genuine people's reactions when they first see "the one". I don't understand how someone can say the people are scripted, not the show. The people are the show. The outfit they are there for has been chosen long before they film, and based on their reactions, most of the family has already seen it before filming as well. They are told what to say, probably recorded saying various versions of the same thing "I was stunned when I saw it, I almost passed out when I first looked at it, I couldn't believe it was real when she walked out, etc" and they mix and match them throughout the show. Also, notice how the final choices always fit the bride and groom perfectly? That is because they have already been tried on and altered or were custom made. I simply love the designs and the beauty of all of it. The clothing and jewelry are gorgeous. I skip a lot of the jibber jabber and just look at the outfits. The clothing, the culture, the showmanship of it all is so beautiful.

I’ve watched these videos since Season 1 and wait for new videos eagerly. The brides are generally delightful and the outfits gorgeous. However, this video and the one previously about the same bride left me wondering why is Nazranaa dwelling in one couple? I realize that the outfits here are over the top, but the bride is too dramatic to be believed and the average Indian couple does not spent $15K+ on wedding outfits, which can make the average bride resentful and buy their outfits at a shop that will fuss over their much smaller budget than Nazranaa. I adore Shia, but am saddened by this idea to focus on one bride for two videos.
@blueice011 Жыл бұрын
Shia is in bridal wear business. She promotes her designing skills, ability to custom design and create bespoke outfits catering to different wishes of her clients and she also advertises her latest collections. This show is form of marketing, not just entertainment for us, the viewers. I don't see why wouldn't she feature another of her outfits, especially after she explained why this particular bride was special to her (they were cooperating on her outfits for almost 3 years). Also, they were not able to do full season last year, so they are probably trying to catch up and make up for that. I don't really care who wears the outfits, as long as they feature beautiful work on the show.

There was little time for guests to interact, and the bride paid ZERO attention to any of us because she was constantly on stage or doing a choreography. All my friends called it “the royal chutney wedding of queens”. So yeah, as someone else said she’s stuck up, and thinks way too much of herself. Wow, remind me not to ever invite you to anything. So lacking in character to come on a public forum and trash a bride who was gracious enough to invite you to her big celebration. Haven't you ever learned the golden rule? Treat others how you would want to be treated. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
