It is a very beautiful dance between a father and a daughter. It is emotional and beautiful and I wish all best for the newly married couple . But I have one regret when I watched the wedding dance. Mr Channa Wijewardene is one of the country’s Best choreographers and a genius in dancing .we are blissed to have a person like him. But I was sad that he and his beautiful daughter were unable to have a Sinhalese song to dance instead of a Hindu song. Also he was speaking in English before the dance commenced. I do not think any famous Hindu stars will have Sinhalese songs for their functions. One admirable thing in this wedding apart from the Hindi song she was very beautiful in the traditional spree . If Chanda had composed a Sinhalese version of the Hindi song and he is is quite capable of it would have make us more proud.

the song meaning doest suit for father - daughter dance!!!! at least when copy things from other cultures need to use some brain. and senses. this is a love song ideal to dance with lover or husband not with father.
