Wedding Dress on a Budget | CocoMelody Review & Wedding Dress Reveal!

Hey everyone! You know all of those gorgeous and affordable wedding dresses you keep seeing on social media and instagram that you know are made in China and are too afraid to order? I decided to take the risk on ordering mob wedding dress from one of the sites whose pictures and prices kept enchanting me so wouldn't have to! I decided to order from a site called CocoMelody because they kept popping up on my Facebook feed and I couldn't find a single dress review on KZbin that wasn't uploaded by the company themselves. I really hope this helps a lot of brides and bridesmaids out there stay on budget for their big day!
This video was not sponsored and I purchased this dress with my own money!
Update: The cost to custom make your wedding dress seems to have increased since last November when I purchased mine. The price is now $69. I do this it is definitely worth it, because not only will it be made to your exact measurements, but you can also have them alter your dress to your exact style. I would suggest asking them to bustle any dresses with a train, so you don't have to pay for that later like I'm going to have to do!

Gorgeous! You look beautiful!!! I totally agree with the "something borrowed" vail, the other is pretty but over-powering like you said. Love this video and review! I personally thinking spending what most people do ($2,000++++) on a dress is insane so I totally love that there are other options out there. Can't wait to see more wedding on a budget videos!

Thank you for this extensive review. I feel like you right now, I don't have a date set but I want to get my dress now and only online or from a boutique if it is 500€ or less. I did find one at a boutique that was closing down and I liked it but didn't love it so I thought I'd just get it off Amazon, knowing it is a gamble. Dont regret the page at all although I am still waiting for it but from What Ive read in reviews and seem pictures, its really good quality. thank you for doing this. I honestly don't trust any of the reviews that are sponsored by the brand or that the brand reached out to them and sent them a free dress or whatever to "honestly" review, especially since there has been multiple science-backed studies showing that even when the reviewer tries to be honest, the fact that it was sponsored in some way skewed the reviewers comments and overall perception of the brand. It is so nice to see someone do a review that shows no bias based off of monetary or material gain.

You look stunning!! When you gave your height/length did you do so in shoes/heels or in bare feet like they suggest. I ask as I don't want to have to get it altered when I have shoes on, esp if it's too short (I want to wear plimsoles, so they aren't be seen lol). How long did it take for you to get the dress once your ordered? Im on a diet too and worried I'll be too small (yea right) or too big for it if I order a year before like every store suggests! I hope you found a dress elsewhere, or had better luck than I did with CocoMelody. My experience with them was awful. AND, they removed my review from their site. I wouldn't trust that everyone has good experiences with them based on what I've seen written on third party review sites. Also, I wrote this above, but if you go to their profile for their LA location (the only brick and mortal location in the US) you'll see a popup warning that a lot of their 5 star reviews came from the same IP address.

It's a hoop skirt, petticoat is ruffles of netting or tulle. Every girl had petticoats in thr 50s for poodle skirts .

I had to spend $500 on alterations to my CocoMelody dress AFTER paying for custom sizing. Just FYI, so you can factor it into your budget in case things don't work out as planned. Don't expect any help from the company either, they'll have lots of excuses though.

I don't trust China's stuffs. Because they did a horrible job on formal dress. Missing beads badly. Hoping they do a double check before selling in store or online. Else, they will lose customers and business forever. They need to do a strictly proper job to gain customers' satisfaction than wasting shipping costs. I didn't realize you included the honeymoon in that figure (even though I just heard you say it as I am rewatching it now) and we all have our own priorities.
