What's the problem with using a quarter to unscrew the 1/4-20 screw?

I personally don't see the issue with it, but in film school I had a teach who was super all about "This is how it's done on a real film set, and if you don't do it this way, you fail and don't deserve to be in this field." So that attitude always irked me.

@@NightOwlsMedia Sounds a little overkill. I've seen some screws that are actually slightly concave, so it would actually be beneficial to use a coin.

@@TCBTS it was super overkill. Always felt that it was more of a pompous thing like "thats how its professionally done"- i always feel like, do the job your own way, as long as you arent infringing on someone else's well being. :)
