I remember that during their wedding the tiara was a gift or loan to her by her designer Michael Cinco. Marian only planned to wear a veil, but it said that when Michael saw the tiara he knew it will be perfect for her. And at the time of their wedding, the wedding cake was the world’s tallest cake. It came out just a simple white cake with no decorations, but as soon as the lights went out it came alive because of the light show. I believe they were the first to have done it as well. Their wedding guest amounted to over 1000 because they invited some fans. They rented MOA Arena for the reception to accommodate their guests.

Their wedding was called Royal Wedding bcoz they are king & queen of teleserye in GMA channel. Tagalog was most used language in the wedding bcoz Marian grew up in Cavite with her Lola and uses pure tagalog dialect despite being half Spanish.

That church is The Immaculate Conception Cathedral of Cubao. It is a huge church, with its very quintessential european architecture, it also has a columbarium, chapel, primary school and high school in a compound. I loved your reaction from start to fin, their wedding was truly magical and everyone (including fans who watched it on television) felt so engaged and included with the event. I remember this. The world-renowned designer, Michael Cinco, was personally present with his team (the staff wore gloves throughout) and they were personally making sure that dress did not catch onto anything. They were spreading the train, carrying it, ensuring its survivability. The wedding was expensive and grand, the cake made a world record, yet all the details retained their personal touch at the same time. The vows were different too. The one in this video was a pre-record if I recall correctly, that was just for the video, but their vows in-ceremony was different.

The service was held at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral with 8 Bishops and 7 priests in attendance and participated. There were about 700 guests inside the church alone and the reception at the Mall of Asia Arena had 1200guests invited. Yes it was the wedding of that year 2014 and can be classed as wedding of the decade! Perfect in all aspects!

That's not their wedding vows, it's their recording voice over for the wedding video released the same day for the fans that is waiting to watch online. DongYan have a massive fans in Africa, Vietnam, Indonesia. And yes, Marian is half Spanish and half Filipina. The wedding theme is a mix of Spanish and Pilipino that is why all the brides maid and flower girls are wearing red gown and veil on their head. Truly, that is a wedding of a decade bcoz the president of the country is there, 8 catholic bishop and 7 priest participated during the ceremony. All local BIG STARS of the country was there to witness the big event. Ateneo Children's Choir (university where Dindong graduated) and De La Salle Children's Choir (university where Marian graduated) lead all the songs played inside the church. The wedding is incomparable.

They had a Catholic wedding which is quite different from a Christian wedding. In Christian weddings, couples say their vows(the ones they composed) during the ceremony in front of the pastor and the people while in a Catholic wedding there are still wedding vows during the ceremony however these vows are standard and along with the priest's lines. So they may tell their wedding vows that they composed in the reception.
