This very helpful as I begin to think about my own wedding. As a photographer myself I agree with everything John has said 100%, especially meeting your photographer. You need to make sure they can handle the level of the event they are going to photograph. Weddings are a big deal, and unlike fashion photography you cannot redo a whole wedding.

What a gifted eye he has for getting the perfect photographic moment captured in a way it actually looks unplanned, though I'm sure it carefully is! Very creative ideas for a shot than the norm; though there is nothing wrong with the old fashioned ones either! To each his(and her) own!

He seems so great and I love his work :) My sister is actually a professional photographer (her and her husband) and I've gone on shoots with them before to learn more about photography and I love learning more. I honestly don't think I could do a wedding myself because that is a very big responsibility and I don't think I'd ever get to that point, but it's so much fun to do as well as a lot of work!

The one thing I regret from my wedding, was allowing my cousin to be the photographer. I have almost no photos of just the two of us from our wedding day, but several of her brothers. Such a bummer. Glad to see you've got some one really amazing!

Finding my photographer was such an ordeal. I did have to dissuade my fiancé's niece from shooting the wedding. After that, I did loads of research and met with many many people before I found someone within our budget that gave us all of our pictures and is just amazing. I can not wait to see my pictures.
