The same and I have 1week to plan in it in Ghana. I will only be having the traditional wedding. Also the price of a makeup artist in GH is ridiculous, there was one make up artist I reached out to and she told me 4000GHC per head

Araba Torson we woke up at 6 I did my sister’s makeup and 1 bridesmaid. I did my hair by 8:30/9. Makeup was done by 11. We took pictures till about 11:30 in our robes. We changed and took more pictures till 12 we got to church at 1ish cos it was far. Wedding started at 2 ended at 2:45. We got to the hotel by 3:30/4. Took pictures and had cocktails till 5:30/6. Then the reception started at 6 till midnight lol. That’s a summary of it.

It was actually 3000 we paid after the discount he gave us so it included the speakers and everything.

I know there's always the need to get a backup wedding vendor. Will the backup vendor be paid How do I go about it

Mavis Amoah you should have backup for every vendor just Incase of unforeseen problems. I had backups during my planning stage but after payments were made to the vendors I chose that was it. However if any of my vendors had canceled I had an option that I could rely on.

Lady bug Well that’s very personal babe lol weddings in general is between two families so it depends on what both sides want to bring and if the couple want to add more then that will be their cost in some cases. For my bridesmaids it was a shared cost I contributed to part of it and they also contributed.

Don't all event planners are expensive. Secondly they do alot behind the scene to work on a good budget. There both good and bad Vendors same as planners. So I think it's wrong to conclude on planners because of some bad experiences you had. U just need to do alot on your research. With all the cost you are mentioning, a good planner would have helped you cut down on some using the same Vendors

It's a choice. No one forces anyone to do same. Always just cut your coat according to your size. Some do this, some do more or less and some just go to the registry. It's a choice
