Me and my hubby also went to a private jeweler who'd work with us before on gifts for one another and knew what I liked, its so special and the boxing for mine was similar but a green color with white ribbon, this makes me so happy for you both (we got engaged in Disney world also) had my loner for a few weeks while my G'grandmothers wedding rings daimond was being mounted for my set, she passed away but told my hubby to use it for my set if she couldn't.

I have really been thinking about doing a moissanite for my engagement ring and have never really gotten to see one in person really. When Michael was designing your ring when the jeweler was it a difficult process doing it online and only through the internet?? And how is the warranty process like if something were to happen to your ring would they send a substitute while you wait for yours to be fixed? The whole internet buying engagement ring thing makes me nervous but if you had a good experience with it like you say could you and Michael do a video solely on the process and everything!! What advice would you give a non-catholic who is dating someone who is Catholic? I am not Catholic but I LOVE going to mass with my boyfriend. We have been dating for awhile and we are very serious, and we want to get married within the next few years. I would love to be catholic and have a catholic wedding, but my family is somewhat against it because no one is catholic in my family and they are afraid people will feel uncomfortable. Hi Emily - I know your question was obviously for Alex but after reading it I felt really inclined to reply. If you love going to mass, God is speaking to you in a very special way. It is in the mass that we come to meet Christ to encounter his sacrifice and love to us. If you are indeed ready to become Catholic and join in the faith, I would encourage you to find an RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) program at the parish where you go to mass. They will provide you with information regarding the process of joining the faith. Don't be afraid of making people uncomfortable. In my humble opinion, those who love you will support you. And the end finding your faith is the most beautiful thing that can happen. I wish you the best.

You dont have to be catholic to marry a catholic :) for a catholic wedding its only necessary that one of you is officially catholic. In my opinion there is not a huge difference. I mean its still the same Religion. Catholics can even marry somebody who is not even christian. So dont worry. Today its not that strict anymore
