I have never seen this done before this is more of a Tewa thing than a Hopi thing because this is not something Hopis would ever do. Considering what the church has done to our Pueblo people and my people the Hopi people all the pain and hurt they put us though trying to change our religion and culture. I think that this is very disrespectful and your elders and ur parents and grandparents shouldn’t have let you do this in a church and they should of know. better to have this take place. SMH
