I saw a good comment that buying the pack on sale is the best way to show EA that the game still has a market but full price is not worth it. I think i will wait and be buying it on sale in the future - i really love the world and have amazing ideas for gameplay but the wedding part is disappointing

@@sim771 tbh non of the packs ever was worth full price. For that money you can buy full tribla A titles that are less buggy....I always buy on sale and the still think it's to expensive for the quality we get

Kate, you are the only reason I build in TS4. I'd tried when I first got the game (3 yrs ago) and was so frustrated with the way the game borks out on angled walls and stuff, so I just quit trying. Went back to TS3 almost exclusively. Then I discovered KZbin videos and yours in particular. I went from builds that weren't getting likes at all to double digits and follows! May not sound like much but I'm an older player & don't play with friends. Thank you so much. You're the only person doing these videos that actually takes the time to teach beginners how to do the wonderful things you do.

Hey Kate, you're really pumping these builds out since your return. This is a stunning build and kinda makes the pack worth buying, the gameplay certainly isn't worth it until they fix it, if they ever do. The extra week didn't improve much. It always amazes me how much detail you put in there, that's where I always fall short. Excellent stuff.

This is absolutely beautiful! 😍You put a lot of thought into this build. That little room for the sims to get ready was such a good idea. I would love to see you do a gothic/dark castle garden or gothic church wedding. I would love to see how you'd build that! I totally agree with you about the world, that canal is not very dreamy to look at.

Sims your marrying don't change into their formal before getting married. You have to tell them to do that.

I haven’t bought the pack yet even though I want it, this is the first time in a long time I haven’t immediately bought a pack upon release or preordered. I like the look and vibe of the world, I’m excited to have a new world, I like the look of a lot of the new items, I like the general aesthetics. But after seeing gameplay be so broken and having yet another pack that’s super buggy and doesn’t work properly upon release is really disappointing. EA need to do better. And the more people who recognise this and stand their ground by not buying the pack the better: I know in the grand scheme of things it probably doesn’t make a whole lot of difference which is a shame; ea are still getting their money because there’s always players out there who buy every new pack upon release etc. It’s just irritating that features that were already broken are not only, still broken but some are made even worse than before from what I’ve seen. I’m hoping a patch is released soon and maybe if things improve in that patch I might feel more excited about the pack as a whole. But for now I’m holding off.

I disagree with having more packs or kits for other events in the game, because the more complicated they become, the less likely the sims will be following along and the more frustrating it will be for the player, as this wedding pack has shown. I think most of these bugs are happening, because there are too many individual AI, which are the sims, that usually do their own thing, but the player tries to control all of them at once and it's just not happening. I don't want that for other events, especially birthdays, those I always try to make them special 😅
