Yes, it is. The Swastika is much older then the missuse during the Dritte Reich and Hitler. It is a religious symbol of good luck throughout Asia and everything important, wedding, housewarming, opening of a new shop, birth of a child etc. starts with a swastika and other symbols of good luck often with a Pooja (religious ritual).
