Wedge fire stopped by Wedge Butte fuel reduction treatment on public lands

In September 2023, the Wedge Fire was stopped by a fuels treatment project that had been implemented the fall of 2022 by the BLM Twin Falls District. It's a great story of active fire being curtailed by a strategically placed fuel break -- protecting thousands of acres of wildlife habitat!
