Though SW made him rich, he took a percentage of the profits instead of a just a flat check or salary. He never had to work again

Much like Christopher Lee. Cushing was a "cult classics" actor playing van helsing in alot of dracula films and even sherlock holmes at one point. So he's used to playing iconic characters and getting alot of nerd attention. Meanwhile alec guinness had alot of dramatic roles he's more proud of, hates how most of his fans are just starwars nerds.

I think it helps that Cushing's career was grounded in pulp horror cinema. He had an appreciation for the fantastical where as Alec Guiness had a far more 'high brow' and distinguished career.

Ewan McGregor really just has a class to him his mannerisms his acting is excellent. His career was the most expansive coming into making his name from the prequels he was excellent in big fish Winnie the pooh and other films. I feel he has that acting edge which gives him the ability to play many roles so he doesn't get confined to being known for one role. Alec Guinness would have been forgotten by many future generations unless your a film historian if not for the role of Obi Wan Kenobi even Vincent Price had more more roles to be known for. Hayden Christensen probably had it the hardest being Darth Vader basically gives you a mark of history that is hard to shake and why he probably had to hear your Anakin/Darth Vader tons of times.

Well, having played a very minor character, minor in terms of acting and screen time, his character is only known by fans, and, to be honest, fans in general, and especially Star Wars hardcore fans, are not the most easy people to deal with when you only see your job in Star Wars as just a minor job in your career.
