I find it extremely weird that an entire massive ship that could probably hold hundreds of marines only has one squad inside and when the survivors get back in Aliens there isnt anybody left alive on the Sulaco after all the only thing that got on board was the queen surely there are other marines, pilots, engineers, cooks hell some janitors you can't tell me the thing only had like 14 people on it and I know the big fatass alien Queen can't fit through people sized doors. Also wow Newt way to throw the rest of the team who died under the bus " I didn't really like the other soldiers but you where nice!"

The reason why only one team of marines was active during Aliens was that all other marines were in hypersleep when not in combat. This was to save some resources. Why keep possibly hundreds of soldiers and other personnel awake at all time, when you can simply put them into hypersleep where they dont use up any resources?

BenniRoR ­ Still some people need to be awake on the ship to maintain it and make sure nothing goes horribly wrong at least some androids. Sure the ship is automated in its piloting but it can still need people like engineers to make sure that nothing goes wrong like life support failing or someone who can weld a hole cause by a meteor strike.

Where did Hicks even get his armor from? In Aliens him and Ripley rip it off when he gets splashed with acid and its left melting in an elevator on LV426. I find it highly unlikely to have an exact replica in his locker (which looked big enough to store only one set of armor)

I've been reading why the pulse rifles are different and I now know why because it's a new version that replaced the 99 mag fed pulse rifle and seeing as you get a pulse rifle from that ship you should get that gun instead of that 40 round pulse rifle -.- really want to use the old one instead of that one, good thing hudson's pulse rifle is usable

the thing that pisses me off with this DLC is that this is between the events of aliens/alien3 when you watch alien 3 and see the facehugger coming onto ripley you can see the egg in the back, now the question still stands still, how did that egg really get there, W-Y were still to late to get to the cryo compartment and the queen is too damn big to fit back there to lay just one egg, im sure another droid didnt just randomly go up there and superglue one to the arch. so much for a movie sequel

I'll give credits to these DLC contents for explaining more of how Hicks ended up in the game. However, I still believe they should have went with Apone as the original anchor character. It would have made the game story less confusing.

athest7 Hicks was described as being impaled, his face seemed in tact. And by the end of Aliens he was in such bad shape that he had to be sedated while Ripley was rescuing Newt. And let's not forget the fact that he was heavily bandaged up by the time he went into stasis, a detail those idiots seemed to have missed as well. So now we have a miraculously healed Hicks running around like nothing happened, kicking ass and taking names. I think not... The fact that the schmucks responsible for this game actually overlooked all of that turns Hicks' survival into a huge plot hole. Not to mention at the start of Alien 3 there's no sign of anyone being present on the ship. The presence of the alien egg at the start of Alien 3 without an explanation was bad writing, granted. But this... This is so much worse.

Sargeantmuffinman In reality, we should have expected this from them after Duke Nukem Forever. That and when they went all silent on Borderlands for 3 years after showing the first trailer. The original Borderlands looked cool and looked like a totally engaging kind of game. But then that game got pulled and the realistic graphics were replaced for a cartoon/comic shader and the gameplay took a radical shift.

sorry if im really late but wait..........this is kinda stupid i mean after alien 2 (aliens) ripley been in cryosleep so the Sulaco’s main computer evacuates the ship, the hypersleep chambers of Ripley on *august 8* while she arrives on *august 9* in alien 3 means it must have taken atleast 1 whole day for ripley to arrive from Sulcano to Fiorina plus it took 1 more whole day to dispatch of alien so on *august 10* after dispatching of alien ripley died. While this dlc is trying to tell me that on *august 8* after ripleys cryosleep being evacuated and that she arrives on Fiorina on the *same* day?!?! And hicks just after waking up on *august 8* and maybe after 2 or 3 hour of fighting got to Fiorina and ripley already dispatched of alien??? This is retarded but im not surprised cuz this is CM game.........
