For attaching clear parts and sometimes attaching the interior tub into the body, I use clear gloss Mod Podge. Good stuff. Dries transparent. 😎👍

What a cool thing to have from a close friend! I don't have anything from a friend, but I have a Nazi youth dagger that my Grandpa sent home while serving in WW2. He died before I was born and I cherish that like you do the letter box. Thank you for showing it.👍

That letter box, I've never seen one of those before. Having all of her things in there, especially that little bit of her ashes, I can see how that is a very special piece for you. As for gluing clear parts, I use Mod Podge, but have seen the airplane builders swear by Canopy glue.
