Xavier's love and sacrifices from the very beginning until the end of the season were so admirable. His strength and skill have the advantage to take what he likes, and his character can implicate superiority. But he remained constant; he was gentle and loving. Despite the pain that he received, he took the time to understand and love someone with respect and protection. Xavier is really an amazing character in the story.

@@katevalentine8550 If you watch Episode 1, you will know that Xavier does actually know Wednesday since they were 10. I actually want to watch the backstory if possible. Nonetheless, I hope people also don't limit the word "love" in a romantic way. As I said, his love comes with understanding and protection. His love was not naive; he experienced pain, anger, and rejection, and I really like that character; it is not too fancy. This love can be romantic in nature, but it can also be a start for friendship love. It will depend on the next season and how the character developed or change. But as of now, I can say that I like the character of Xavier. And lastly, our time is not the same as the time in fictional stories, so we cannot say that they only knew each other for a few or more days.

People want Tyler because he's the cute, sweet guy, the perfect boyfriend. I wonder if in real life they really would. But, Xavier is the one who is there, especially in the bad moment, he tries to make Wednesday understand what he feels when he's hurt by his words or sidelined, and hopes for a return from him, but it's not in her personality. It needs to be deepened. If there's one thing I've learned in Netflix series (love, friendship, family), it's that the people closest to you, that you couldn't suspect, without those you should rather be wary of.

Despite how cold Wednesday appears to be, she's surprisingly caring about other people's lives and safety, and I'm glad Xavier finally sees that part of her in a much clearer view (Taking an arrow for him was no easy action, especially if u take consideration of the fact that if the arrow was couple inches closer to her chest, it could hit her heart and killing her instantly). Though yes, while Wednesday is also overly reckless, impulsive, and selfish, her hasty action was partially caused by her desperation on preventing the worst to happen... I hope these two really became a good duo in the future, romantic or not 😎

See, I didn't ship anyone from the beginning. I simply enjoyed both scenes with Xavier and Tyler. But when we found out that Tyler was the Hyde I was more relieved than I'd expected cause some silent part of me preferred Xavier's loyal and complex character. So yeah, totally looking forward to more Wednesday and Xavier if we get a season two because there's SO much room for growth between them. And I get why more people still like Tyler. We can all agree that Netflix pushed the chemistry between Tyler and Wednesday which undoubtedly drew viewers attention. Though I wonder if Tyler truly liked Wednesday or if Laurel Gates forced him to get close to her. We'll know one day. Until then. Xavier all the way. 💕

@@wholethedogsout880 i think the xavier ship was good. People keep saying he stalked her, but i feel he was just trying to keep her safe from Tyler coz he knew Tyler had a history of being a bully. Wednesday was the one who snuck into his room, followed him around etc. Also, she knew he had feelings for her and she didn't know what to do with that. Her own trauma (Nero, being scared of emotions) made her uncomfortable with Xavier's affection. Her expression in the painting scene said a lot, she felt so much but didn't know what to do with it. She felt it when Xavier called her toxic (she was always afraid she'd do something *bad terrible* unlike Ivan), she felt it when Xavier came in to fight crackstone with her, she felt it even when Bianca bitched her out to Xavier in ep 2. I don't know if they will date, but it will be a huge part of Wednesday's journey to accept that people do care about her. That despite her weirdness, people can still love her for exactly who she is.

These two have great potential to be a really amazing ship. I wasn't on board with how Xavier seemed to be interested in Wednesday very quickly, I get feeling grateful for her during their childhood but they both grew up separately and never really knew each other. But despite his one-sided feelings, the two have a subtle chemistry throughout the show that could really turn into something explosive but it very much depends on the writing in future seasons. I like how in the end, Wednesday/Xavier both became real friends, sacrificing for each other instead of being forced into something romantic like Wednesday/Tyler.

At first, I enjoyed both scenes with Xavier and Tyler and binged the show too fast to catch the little details like Tyler in the bathtub which is a good point tbh. Though Tyler never came off as "too nice" or "sketchy" to me, he was just meh until the Rav'N episode when Xavier revealed how Tyler and some dudes bullied him. First red flag but Wednesday just shrugged it off so I guess I did too... idk. I saw a comment on another video explaining that they prefer Xavier more because he's character is more cool and complex. He's also super loyal and I'd love to see more of him (praying we get a season 2). He's past, his family and some character development.

I think it was a subtle chemistry, but it's not naturally there unlike Wednesday/Enid. It depends on the writers to build their chemistry with good writing in season 2. Right now Xavier/Wednesday are better off as friends, towards the end, their last scene with their little banter about her new phone was nice, the most chemistry they had tbh.
